Ryodoraku is a system of diagnosis and treatment developed by Dr. Yoshio Nakatani, M.D., Ph.D., during the late 1940s. Through extensive research, Dr. Nakatani measured electrical conductivity and resistance produced at various points in the skin. He named these resistance points ryodoten, or good connection points.
Dr. Nakatani conducted many case studies of his patients. He noted 24 ryodoten on the hands and feet, and soon recognized a connection between the ryodoten and the patient's autonomic nervous system. He named this new diagnostic and treatment system ryodoraku, which translates literally to "good conducting connections".
Ryodoraku bridges the ancient principles of acupuncture and the modern methods of western medicine to create the the very best treatment possible.
AcuGraph is an American update to this system, integrating it with a laptop computer for quick measurements and graphical reference.
