Cosmetic Acupuncture

I started doing Acupuncture “Face Lifts” or Cosmetic Acupuncture in Hollywood in 1982.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a non-surgical treatment which reduces the signs of the aging process, by increasing collagen production and skin elasticity, reducing facial and jaw tension, reducing acne and evening skin coloration, and of course, minimizing wrinkles. 

It has been used for centuries with great success by Emperors and other wealthy elite in Asian countries. It started to become popular in North America in the past few decades. 

The aim of this treatment is to use acupuncture needles on specific points on the face, neck and body to remove blockages in the meridian channels and to increase the balance of Qi (energy) and Blood flowing to this area.

Cosmetic Acupuncture, above all, addresses the person’s overall health, whereas a lot of the Western techniques are just about the face.
