I cannot recommend acupuncture with Dr. Crapo enough. He has treated me for headaches/migraines and sports injuries in the past with great success. He also taught my husband, who is also an acupuncturist, a treatment for quick and easy labor and delivery. With my first child, I was only in active labor for 20 minutes and with my second child only 2 minutes! If you have ever been interested in acupuncture, I recommend seeing Dr. Crapo.

I’ve received acupuncture treatments from Dr. Mark many times over the years for conditions such as sinus headache, shoulder injury and stress. Dr. Crapo is an amazing acupuncturist! I had a nervous breakdown. Some of the meds made me sick. So, my social worker recommended Dr. Crapo in Battle Creek. I had the best experience ever! I was very thin, from lack of appetite, had 4 children at home and a job at Ford Motor. The long drive from home to Battle Creek was so worth it. I started eating, started to feel way more energy. The Chinese herbs are an ancient and very powerful medicine. I was so thankful for my health. I am forever grateful!!

I had a carcinoma removed from my face and had acupuncture treatments by Dr. Mark, to help with the healing and scaring. The treatments helped decrease the healing time and greatly minimized any scaring. This is just one of many things that he has used acupuncture to help me with.

I was out deer hunting and fell, twisting my back badly. It was so painful I could barely walk and needed help getting out of a chair. I went to a chiropractor daily for two weeks without any improvement and was still unable to move without extreme pain. I called Dr. Crapo and had amazing relief of pain with the first treatment, but at his recommendation, I went back for a second treatment in a few days because I had waited so long after the injury to have acupuncture. This happened several years ago, and now when I have pain in my back or neck, I go to him first, and always get relief!

Before receiving acupuncture, I was very afraid of needles. But, when nothing else was helping, my friends highly recommended acupuncture, and Dr. Mark, I tried it. Over the years since, Dr. Mark/acupuncture has helped me with several conditions including hormones, TMJD, headaches, heartburn, carpal tunnel, etc…. Dr. Mark/acupuncture has been my primary tool for pain relief and management. Acupuncture results in last way longer than medication and has no bad side effects. I have an auto-immune disease that has no treatment or cure by western medicine definition. Gratefully Dr. Mark/acupuncture has been able to help by slowing the disease down, and even reversing some of the effects, which is traditionally considered ‘impossible’. One of my family members recently had shingles on their face. When they received acupuncture from Dr. Mark, before the treatment was over, the pain and redness had diminished 75% with the very first treatment!

I have been treated with acupuncture by Dr. Mark Crapo with great success for numerous issues over the years, so when I recently developed tinnitus, which presented as a roaring in my ears so loud that I couldn't hear conversations anymore. Speaking with my medical doctor and research online gave a very bleak picture of any improvement. I called Dr. Mark for treatment and after the first treatment, the noise had subsided to a very minimal level. Not only that, my hearing itself had improved. I have worn expensive hearing aids for many years, but I was actually able to have a conversation without my hearing aids and hear better than I had in a long time. I continue to have acupuncture treatments when the tinnitus begins to return, with exceptional results. Dr. Mark is very intuitive, and I have never failed to improve after treatment, regardless of the issue, whether is back pain, neck or shoulder pain, or tinnitus. I can't recommend him enough!

I have been under Dr. Mark’s care for over 10 years. I was diagnosed with scoliosis way back in High School. We went to different doctors and even specialists. One of the specialists even suggested surgery which terrified my parents and me. We kept looking for other options until my parents met Dr. Mark. My parents brought me to one of his health and nutrition presentations so that he could check my back, and the rest was history. He would always adjust my back and perform acupuncture every chance he gets, when in the Philippines. He is always ready to give medical advice whenever someone in the family has health issues, and now, even my very own daughter. His holistic and natural approach in healthcare has improved my back issues and my overall health, without the need for surgery. For that, I am forever grateful to him. We absolutely love Dr. Mark, and I truly believe that meeting him was God’s answer to our prayers.

When my nephew was 2 years old he developed rashes all over his body and an asthmatic cough. At night, he snored like a grown man and would have bouts of sleep apnea. His pediatrician wasn't able to offer much help. When Dr. Mark was in town teaching a Continuing Education Class at St. Luke Hospital, I was able to make an appointment to see him. He was able to diagnose an allergy to the formula Jared was on and suggested stopping his formula and cow’s milk. He also suggested supplements and herbs that he formulated. It was a scary decision but my nephew's doctor, as a last resort, had already prescribed steroids, which we tried. Finally, when he was 3, we decided to do what Dr Crapo said. In a week his symptoms decreased by 50% and in a few months, he was ok! He's a strapping 15-year-old young man now! Dr. Mark has monitored his progress over the years as well as offering acupuncture to other family members.

As 40-year and 20-year smokers, we went into acupuncture for two different reasons. The 20-year smoker went into it for a very personal reason; I was moving toward having a healthier lifestyle and to be successful at that I needed to quit smoking, once and for all. The 40-year smoker went into it as my support system but had his doubts, as he had tried numerous other ways of quitting… only to fail. We both have never had acupuncture before and of course, we were apprehensive about going in. Dr. Mark had us watch a video and thoroughly explained the needles and placement. He put both of us very much at ease. After just two treatments both of us have successfully quit smoking for almost 5 years as of today. After just 10 days of no cigarettes, our breathing and stamina were markedly improved. To say that acupuncture and smoking cessation was a success is a total understatement. We couldn’t be happier. We are both thankful and grateful to Dr. Mark and his skill in acupuncture. We look forward to acupuncture to help support our health in other ways under the care of Dr. Mark as well.

I've had acupuncture for years for pain related to athletic injuries, post-surgical shoulder repair, TMJD, food sensitivities, sinus pain, and stuffiness... Pretty much anything that arises as I'd much rather have acupuncture than take medicine (that usually is accompanied by adverse reactions). I've had acupuncture from several acupuncturists and seem to get faster results from Dr. Mark's treatments. His treatments are unique and sometimes from information he knows of more esoteric practices that other acupuncturists have not studied.

Because of Calcific Tendonitis in my shoulder, I could no longer raise my right arm above waist height. 

The pain had been increasing over the years and I was seriously considering shoulder replacement , but I found out that I would not be a good candidate for surgery. 

I was told about acupuncture, but I was a skeptic. The thought of being stuck with needles, well, I wasn't a fan. 

I reluctantly set up an appointment with Dr. Crapo, and was more than surprised by the amount of relief obtained after the first visit! Four appointments in and I can raise my right arm above my head without pain or stiffness. I have back the range of movement that I haven't had in over 20 years. 

I can't praise Dr. Crapo enough! He is a miracle worker!!!
